Boss MEGA FEATURE: New Super Mario Bros!

WAY overdue enemy! To make up for the delay, here's ALL the bosses in New Super Mario Bros!

Bowser Jr: Fought in all fortresses. If he has his mask off, he will run and jump around. Three stomps defeat him. If he has his mask on, he will avoid being stomped and throw Koopa shells at Mario. Mario must hit the shells back at him, which stun him so you can stomp him 3 times.

Bowser: Boss of World 1. He will breathe fire and jump. Somehow, get behind him and press the Skull Switch to drop him into the lava.

Mummipokey: a Pokey wrapped in mummy rags, and boss of World 2. It will burrow under the sand and pop out randomly. It can also spit missiles. Three stomps defeat it. If defeated with Mini Mario, World 4 will be unlocked.

Cheepskipper: a large Cheep-Cheep and boss of World 3. Mainly, it will stay under the water, but when it jumps out, stomp it. Three stomps do the trick. While doing this, avoid the other jumping Cheep-Cheeps.

Mega Goomba: a supersized Goomba, boss of World 4. It will only charge at you. Duck into an alcove in the floor to dodge it. When there is enough room, wall-jump and Ground-Pound it. Three Pounds defeat it.

Petey Piranha: the giant Piranha Plant, boss of World 5. He will fly, and then attempt to squash Mario. If he misses, he will slip on the icy floor and fall over. While he is struggling, stomp him 3 times. Defeating him with Mini Mario unlocks World 7.

Monty Tank: a Monty Mole in a tank, boss of World 6. The tank will move back and forth, shooting Bullet Bills out of its cannon. Periodically, the Mole will pop out of the top and toss a Bob-omb towards Mario. When the Mole comes out, climb on the tank and stomp him. Three stomps crush the tank. But beware – the tank starts with one cannon, but whenever you stomp it, another appears.

Lakithunder: a Lakitu armed with a thundercloud, and the boss of World 7. He flies in the air, and has 3 attacks: throwing Spinies, striking the ground directly below him with lightning, and swooping down to hit Mario. When he does this third attack, stomp him before he flies back up. Three stomps destroy his cloud and render him harmless.

Dry Bowser: Bowser's undead form, first boss of World 8. He will attack like normal Bowser, but additionally can toss bones like a Hammer Bro. The Skull Switch behind him will take him out.

FINAL BATTLE: Bowser Jr. AND the revived Bowser at the same time! Bowser Jr. attacks with his mask on, and Bowser has learned how to breathe multiple fireballs at once - and homing fireballs too! Take out Bowser Jr. first, then battle Bowser like the usual.

Congrats! You've beaten New Super Mario Bros!

Charging Chuck

Charging Chucks are muscular Koopas with football gear that appear in Super Mario World. They charge towards Mario very quickly, and if Mario jumps over them, it takes them a moment to spot Mario again. Their helmets protect them, so they require 3 stomps to defeat. There are also many subspecies:

Lookout Chucks: they take less time to spot Mario.

Football Chucks: they remain stationary and toss bouncing footballs.

Confused Chucks: like Football Chucks, but they throw baseballs instead.

Jumping Chucks: they leap towards Mario.

Clapping Chucks: they remain stationary and attempt to block Mario by jumping whenever he jumps.

Fuzzy

Fuzzies are odd-looking creatures indeed. They travel along ropes or tracks, and since they are somewhat spiky, Mario cannot jump on them. They can be defeated by Mario when he has a Star. In games where Mario can Spin Jump, he can bounce off them.
A short post means... a sneak peek!

Wallop

Wallops are a subspecies of Thwomp that appears in Super Mario 3D Land. If Mario approaches it, it will move in front of him, blocking his way. If Mario jumps, the Wallop jumps, but it can't move side-to-side while jumping. This allows Mario to quickly pass it. It can only be defeated by being crushed by Statue Mario.

Special Enemy: Golden Tail Goomba

The Golden Tail Goomba is a beta enemy from Super Mario 3D Land. In an early trailer for the game, these unique enemies were shown. They could hover and float farther and longer than normal Tail Goombas. But none ever made it into the final game. What a shame. They look cool, though.

Goomba Tower

THE 50th ENEMY!!!

A Goomba Tower is simply a stack of Goombas from Super Mario 3D Land. They can come in varying heights. If they spot Mario, they begin running towards him. Each of the Goombas can be defeated like  regular Goomba - but do NOT attempt to jump on a Goomba on the bottom! The top Goomba can be stomped. The middle ones can be hit by fireballs or Tanooki Mario's tail. Better yet, a Ground Pound can take out all of them at once. These can be intimidating obstacles in narrow spaces where they are tricky to jump over.

Fake Block

Fake Blocks are enemies found in Super Mario 3D Land. They begin camouflaged among other normal blocks, but can be told apart by their darker color. When Mario gets close, they reveal their eyes and use their tails to float. They come towards Mario, attacking by spinning downwards and swinging their tails. They can defeated by being broken like a regular block - by being hit from below or Ground-Pounded from above or thwacked by Tanooki Mario.
