Buster Beetle

The honorary First Enemy: the Buster Beetle!

Buster Beetles are bipedal, heavy-shelled creatures that only appear in Super Mario Bros. 3. When encountered, they run quickly on the ground towards Mario. Hitting a wall will make them reverse direction. But when they encounter an Ice Block, they will pick it up and toss it towards Mario, injuring him if they hit him. The Buster Beetle can be defeated with a stomp, fireball, shell, or Ice Block.
