In World 7-A of New Super Mario Bros, Mario meets the rare Squiggler. These wormy creatures pop out of pipes and start inchy-squinching around the nearest object. A stomp will kill it, but a fireball will actually give you points. A single friendly Squiggler appears in Dimble Wood in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
