Magikoopas are robed Koopas that are highly skilled in magical attacks. When they first appeared in
Super Mario World, they will appear floating and shoot a magic blast at Mario. Then they'll teleport somewhere else and repeat this pattern. They mimic this behavior in
Super Mario Galaxy and
Super Mario Galaxy 2, only they do it in 3 dimensions and they shoot fireballs. Their leader, Kamek, is similar-looking to them, but typically rides a broom. More on him later... ;)
