These Hammer Bro cousins are similar to both Hammer Bros and Sledge Bros, but they ride flying platforms, which swoop back and forth aimlessly in the sky in Super Mario World. While doing so, they toss many, many hammers down. They cannot be stomped, and can only be defeated by hitting their platforms from underneath. After this, the platforms will continue swooping, and you can hop on and take a ride (although not actually controlling the platform). AFHB's make an appearance in Super Princess Peach, in which there are also Calm Amazing Flying Hammer Bros. These start out sleeping and paying you no mind, but Peach must pass slowly by them or they will wake up and behave as normal.
